We would love individuals to organise a sponsored event. We can help and support you with this, by giving you a page on the website publicising your event with a link to the online fundraising website St Peter's Life-Line uses www.charitygiving.co.uk, with your own personalised page for people to be able to give easily, without the need to collect cash. Need some fundraising inspiration? Take a look at our fundraising page, to see what events some of our supporters have organised.

Benefactors also have the opportunity to provide funds for other, smaller items which are urgently needed.

It's a common myth that only the rich and famous leave money to charity when they die. This couldn't be any further from the truth. The reality is that without the gifts left in wills, many of the charities we know and support today wouldn't even exist. St Peter's will gratefully accept any legacies – no matter how big or small. You don't have to be rich and famous to make a contribution that can make a difference. We can all do something.

Every pound given goes directly to the school. The only charge we have to pay is a small bank charge to transfer funds from our charity uk account to the school account in Kenya. The directors do not take any expenses themselves, all publicity costs, promotional materials and trips are funded by the directors.

Please contact us at enquiry@stpeterslifeline.org.uk if you would like to get involved, we'd love to hear from you.

We aim to take out 1 small team each year, to help with a specific community based project. We know that by taking people out to the community to make a difference will also have a profound affect on those who go out, greatly enriching it, and also returning as an ambassador for St Peter's Life-Line with a passion to make a difference.

In November 2011 we took out our first team out to spend a week at the community in Kajuki.

If you are interested in being on one of our teams, please email enquiry@stpeterslifeline.org.uk for more details.

You will need to raise all your own funds for the trip. At the moment we are particularly interested in those who can offer specialist skills (such as building, plumbing, electrics, engineering to name a few).
