FEEDING PROGRAMME

Food is always short in this area. Children don't have the energy or motivation to walk in to school every day. A daily hot, nutritious lunch, will bring them in - not only to fill their tummies, but their minds, as well! Over the years we have seen attendance rolls rise and stabilise, and academic standards continue to improve. An average of £17 is all it costs to feed one child every day for a WHOLE school year (205 days)! Currently we are feeding around 1,746 children at seven local government primary schools.
